Beef Cattle
There is nothing better than farm fresh beef! Cari grew up on a cattle farm in Shelbyville Illinois and cattle have always been near and dear to her heart. Cari feeds out cattle born and raised on Rincker Simmentals that are available to purchase on a quarter, half or whole steer basis.
Cattle are fed grain to meet Choice quality grade for delicious, juicy beef. They are on pasture on Cari’s Farm along side the other livestock. The steers are Simmental or Simmental x Angus crossbred cattle. Prices are based off of live weight.
We work with Arends Butchershop in Ivesdale, Illinois. Once you purchase your portion of the steer then you are responsible to pay for your portion of processing expenses. You will work with Arends Butcher Shop directly on how you wish for your portions to be cut and packaged - prices can vary in accordance with these decisions. Cari guarantees satisfaction in the beef product or she will use it herself on the farm.
Goats
Cari raises registered boer goats on her farm and she has grown a strong love for the animals and their fun personalities. Not only does she have breeding does and bucks available for purchase, but she also sells goat meat fresh from the farm. Goat meat is difficult to find and it is delicious.
Goat meat is sold on a half or whole goat basis. Prices are based off of live weight. Cari’s goats are fed grain in addition to her beautiful pasture outside of Champaign.

Chickens
Cari has a myriad of egg laying breeds of chickens on her farm. The chickens roam free around her barn and in the pastures with the other animals. It is fun to watch the chickens interact with the other livestock. Cari’s chickens lay eggs of ranging from white, cream, light and dark brown, green and blue. It is a surprise with every dozen eggs on what it will contain.
Rabbits
Cari raises meat rabbits that are available to purchase as meat animals or for breeding. Cari sells her bunnies to Rural King and others in the community. You can buy the bunnies directly from the farm itself.
If you wish to buy a rabbit for meat, you are responsible for your own processing.
